Orders are normally prepared and shipped from Japan within 2-5 business days after payment has been confirmed.

Delivery times vary depending on the destination, shipping carrier, customs procedures, local postal conditions, weather, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. CUSTOMS AND IMPORT REGULATIONS

International customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they order may legally be imported into their destination country or region.

Matcha Japan is not responsible for delays, inspections, seizures, disposal, or other actions taken by customs authorities or other government agencies, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

8. RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

For food safety and hygiene reasons, matcha, tea, and other food products cannot be returned or exchanged due to a change of mind once they have been shipped.

For international orders, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges due to a change of mind, personal preference, or ordering the wrong item.

If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs showing the product and packaging.

After reviewing the circumstances, we will provide an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement or refund.

9. ORDER CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may be able to cancel an order before it has been prepared or shipped.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.

10. REFUSED OR UNCLAIMED PACKAGES

If a package is refused, left unclaimed, or returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to pay customs duties or import charges, or other circumstances attributable to the customer, any refund or reshipment will be considered after the returned package has been received and inspected.

Original shipping charges and additional costs associated with the return or reshipment may be deducted from any refund or charged separately.

11. ACCURACY OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.

Matcha Japan is not responsible for delivery problems or additional expenses caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

If we are unable to fulfill a paid order, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate refund.
